How to fix write protected pen drive ?
There are various way to fix it and we are going to tell about the one of the best working method to fix the problem in your pen drive and the method is described point to point below.
1 : We are fixing the issue with regedit you need to open the regedit with the run command. Press Windows + R in the keyboard and it popups the run box and type regedit in the box and hit enter to open it.
2 : New box will be open just click on yes and another box will be open which need to be modified.
3 : Click on the "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE" After that click on system and then click on CurrenControlSet and last click on Control and look for the StorageDevicePolicies and click on it.
4 : if you are not finding it you can create it just by right click on the control and goto - NEW-KEY and give the name StorageDevicePolicies .
5 : After creating StorageDevicePolicies , right click on it and click on NEW and then you need to choose DWORD (32-BIT) VALUE and click on it.
6 : You will find the WriteProtect option under the default value which we need to change ,Double click on the WriteProtect and erase the value data 1 to 0 and save.
7 : Now restart your computer and your problem has probably gone for now.
